1990-Present: Noise Unlimited, Inc.
Currently, Bill responsible for all aspects of sales for all testing programs.
From 1990-1995 Bill was responsible for the management of the laboratory. Project
management and complete lab supervision were his primary duties.
1967-1990: Lockheed Electronics Co., Inc.
Bill was responsible for the setup and supervision of the complete System Qualification
Tests on military programs at a systems level, unit or sub-level.
He directed and supervised technicians during setup phase, interpreted the required
test methods from MIL-STDs and Specifications. He supervised the performance of the
tests, monitored the required parameters for failure criteria, assembled, reviewed
interpreted, and summarized the data for the generation of test reports.
Bill assisted in sales quotations and scheduling of tests with regards to cost savings
and minimum test times.
He worked with Qualification testing in accordance with various specs., including
MIL-E-1600G, MIL-STD-810C, MIL-S-901C, MIL-STD-740B, MIL-STD-167-1, and Canadian
Specification D-03-003-007/SF-000.
Setup and developed test profiles, both thermal and vibration, to conduct Stress
Screening tests at a unit and sub-unit level (MIL-STD-2164EC). NAVAMAT specs.
Setup and instrumented various system units to determine equipment dynamic responses
and/or resonant modes. Collected and evaluated all data and formatted data for customer
presentation.
Verified testing was performed in accordance with MIL-I-45208A, and the equipment on
board ships to verify responses related to equipment installation.
Programs associated with AEGIS, TARTAR, MK86, various SATCOM systems, AIMS Systems,
Polarus, Poseidon, and Trident programs. Involved in many CG and DDG programs and
currently the Canadian Patrol frigates. Directly involved with the Lance Missile
Reliability programs for over two years. Aircraft programs include: C5A, C5B, F-14, F-16,
and AVA8. Space programs involved included: Voyager, Explorer , Viking, Apollo, and the
Space Shuttle. Worked closely with Representatives from DOD, NAVSEA, BuShips, BuWeps, and
all major defense contractors including WPAD and MAYO, Raytheon, Tractor, General
Dynamics, Unisys, Bath Iron Works, Ingalls Shipbuilding, Newport News, and St. Johns
Shipbuilding.
